We are on our second bag of Jiminy's kibble, and my dog loves it. I supplement it with a small amount of fresh healthy human food (e.g., some ground turkey, an egg) and she devours it. Seems to be keeping her weight at a healthy level and her GI system appears to be doing great (if you know what I mean💩). My family recently adopted a "French Pug" from our local shelter. When we got her she had very badly swollen ears, such that the vet could not look into her ear canal. It was surmised that it was a possible ear infection gone untreated or maybe allergies. So I started her on a single protein diet (Turkey based). I was supposed to keep her on it for at least 2 mos., to see if that helped and if not then move on to a different protein. However, I was buying skin ointment with Manuka honey, in Petco, to apply to her ear, externally, to try to reduce the
swelling, when I happened upon Jiminy's! I got soo excited to see an alternative to animal protein ( which I always feel guilty about!) and the collateral effects that come with it. I bought a tetra pack of the wet Cravin Cricket to try out on her and my older (~12yo) Chihuahua... and they both loved it! I went to the site to see if I could order the kibble directly and now am subscribed for the rotation subscription. I am now feeding both girls on Jiminy's kibble and treats. Roxie's, our "French Pug", ears have gotten much better and Jiminy's products do not cause any allergic response, she's much less gassy, both girls enjoy eating it and I don't feel the guilt! Jiminy's has also inspired me to revisit entomophagy for myself as well!😊
